Hello, I’m Cindy — the owner of Forever Rose Headstone Cleaning.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to history and the peaceful beauty of old cemeteries. I love walking among the stones, reading the inscriptions, and knowing that each name represents a life, a family, and a story that mattered.
After spending 25 years working in the legal field, I felt called to do something more meaningful — something that allowed me to care for history, families, and memories in a more personal way.
That calling became especially clear after losing my parents. When my mother passed away in 2013, my father cared lovingly for her headstone — always making sure it was clean, cared for, and never without flowers. When he passed in 2021, I wanted to honor both of them by continuing that same devotion. Maintaining their headstone became a way for me to stay connected to them and preserve the love they shared.
Around the same time, I began volunteering at a local historic cemetery, helping to clean and preserve stones dating back to the 1600s. Seeing how time, nature, and neglect can hide names and memories — and then watching those same stones come back to life with gentle care — confirmed that this was meaningful work.
Sometimes life brings all the pieces together in a way that just feels right.
Forever Rose allows me to combine my love of history, my respect for cemeteries, and my deep desire to help families care for the resting places of the people they love.
My business is named in memory of my mom, Rose — a quiet tribute to her kindness, grace, and the love she gave our family. Through this work, I hope to honor not only her memory, but the memories of your loved ones as well.
It is truly my privilege to care for each headstone with the same dignity, gentleness, and reverence I give my own family’s memorials.
~Cindy
